If you are looking for a church in Herrin, we are happy to welcome you to First Evangelical Presbyterian Church. We welcome all the people of God; as well as those who are asking, considering, wondering, or thinking about Jesus.
Our contemporary worship service is at 9:03 am in the Fellowship Hall, 420 N. Park Ave. The traditional service is in the main sanctuary at 11:00 am, 421 N. 14th Street.
Our church is evangelical (centered in Jesus Christ and strongly valuing the authority of the Bible) and Reformed (based in John Calvin’s teachings on God’s sovereignty).
As an ECO congregation, we are part of a movement of God's people working for faith, justice, and peace. Some distinctive traits of our church include a commitment to discipleship, a priority on leadership development, and an affirmation of women in leadership.
Ash Wednesday worship is at 7 pm in the traditional sanctuary, 421 N. 14th Street.
The Men's Emmaus weekend is from 3-5 March. Spaces are still available, call the church office if you would like to attend.

A trivia night to support the Herrin House of Hope will be held on Friday, March 24th. The event is sponsored by the First Baprist Church of Herrin and will meet in their fellowship hall on the corner of Clark Trail and 13th Street. Doors open at 6:00 pm, the trivia starts at 6:30 pm. $20 per person or $120 per table (6-8 people). Refreshments and a silent auction will be available.
